Developer/Publisher Pass eligibility and FAQ

If your company's main and only business is developing/publishing your own apps you may be eligible for a dev/pub ticket .
Read more below, and If you think you're eligible, write us to support *at* mobilesummits *dot* com and we'll send you a code.
The dev/pub tickets costs at this stage 390 ILS (and no discount code can be applied to it)

About Dev/Pub Ticket

This year, for the first time, we are limiting the purchase of the most basic pass only to developers and publishers. The reason for that is that the Summit is now a 2 full days event, and as such costs are up on one hand, but we still would like to make it accessible especially for developers/publishers.

The practice of creating a different price bands, one for developer/publishers and the other for all others, is a common one in the mobile event industry. The reason is simple: The heart of the conference is mobile apps/games, and the ones who produce those are developers and publishers. It is true that enablers of the industry such as adtech companies and other providers are not less important, but still they would also like to see in a conference more developers and publishers, so it's also in their best interest to keep the ticket price for that demographics as low as possible.

Who is eligible to register with a Developer/Publisher ticket?

You're eligibile if:
1. Your company's main and only business is developing mobile apps/games and
2. The company has at least one app/game published in one of the app stores

Notes:
1. The size of the company does not matter - you can be a small indie developer, or you can be a big publisher.
2. What matters is not your role within the company, but rather the company type  (i.e. a software developer at an adtech company is not eligible)
3. The company should either own the rights of the app/game or developed it entirely - having your SDK integrated at an app, does not make it yours...

How do you verify if someone is a developer/publisher?

As part of the registration to the dev/pub ticket, you will be asked to provide a link to the app or game that your company develops or publishes.
We go over those answers periodically, and we will cancel and refund any registration in which that field was not filled correctly.

What if my app is not in the app stores?

If for some reason your app is still not published, for example it is still in alpha/beta or it is an internal app - contact us and tell us more about it.
Note that we still may not be able to qualify you for the dev/pub ticket - since providers want to meet dev/pubs with a published app.

Can a Developer/Publisher buy a BUSINESS or VIP Ticket?

Yes, any developer that wants to have more features such as a full access to the 1x1 meetings system, can definitely buy a more expensive badge.
We do recommend that option to big developers/publishers but it is up to them.

I am still not sure if I am eligible or not - what do I do?

You're welcome to contact us and share your thoughts.
